My passion for authentic communication began at a young age. Although my family would complain about my asking a thousand and one questions, my parents gave me the space to explore and examine various perspectives through talking. I learned very early on that to improve, advance, retrain, or unlearn, strong communication is essential.

Why I do what I do.

I am a firm believer that your environment is an extension of your mind. After losing my mother at the age of 14, my life changed forever. While experiencing loss at a young age made me strong, determined and independent, it also forced me to carry loads that were too heavy to bear. The tipping point was a year and a half ago when I landed in the emergency room of a hospital because of an anxiety attack that I didn’t see coming…in the middle of the night while my toddler was asleep in bed. I was under insurmountable stress that I had no idea was taking a toll on my mind, body, and soul. I knew things had to change!

Although I’ve been speaking and inspiring for years, I realized some of the things I learned in my past didn’t have the ability to sustain my future. So, I made some serious changes and became crystal clear and unapologetic about who I am and the vision I carry.
